The iSOX decoupling mat with studs is a membrane with studs, made of polyethylene with a polypropylene fleece on both sides.
Because this mat is provided with a non-woven fabric on both sides, this ensures perfect adhesion of the tile adhesive and reduces adhesive consumption by 15%!
The iSOX decoupling mat functions in combination with the tile covering as a sealing layer, as a vapour pressure equalisation layer for moisture from the substrate and as a decoupling layer for problem substrates. The iSOX decoupling mat can be used for cement screeds, wooden substrates, floating screeds, heated screeds, balconies and terraces.

This waterproof membrane with studs, made of polyethylene with a polypropylene fabric on both sides.

This mat separates the tile from the screed, and in renovation from the existing tiling or from the wooden subfloor, thus protecting it against any possible movement or cracks that may occur.
The air channels between the studs provide ventilation on the underside of the membrane, thus preventing a build-up of vapour pressure.
